The Hercules Power Supply Upgrade for Linn, Rega, Thorens...

The Hercules PSU is a crystal oscillator referenced, power supply upgrade for turntables that use AC synchronous motors (EG 'Airpax,' 'Premotec'). This includes the Linn Sondek LP12, Axis and Basik turntables, as well as models from Rega, Thorens, Systemdek, and others.*

Briefly, the Hercules generates (or 're-generates') a purer AC sine wave signal; this cleaner signal lowers motor vibration, which leads to improved sound quality. That seems reasonable, but what does it actually mean, sound wise?

Since the Hercules was introduced, in 2006, users have described gains in clarity, detail, bass, tonal nuance, and stereo imaging.
